Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir slated to be the tallest religious structure in the world is a massive project by any standards. The temple is being constructed at Vrindavan. It has an office with an Ashram in Gurgaon, National Capital Region for creating public awareness about the project and to garner all kinds of support vital to realise a project of that grand dimension.
A group of dedicated devotee volunteers reside at the Ashram and scour the length and breadth of the country raising awareness, soliciting financial support, and creating spiritual benefit for of all kinds of persons like professionals, bureaucrats, politicians, businessmen, students and housewives by involving them in different ways in the grand project.
Recently, the devotees of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir in Gurgaon decided to establish a new project office in Gurgaon for intensifying fund raising efforts to expedite the construction. Sri RakeshJuneja, a Founder Patron of the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, offered his house for the proposed office and so it was decided that his house in DLF Phase 3, Gurgaon would be used as an office for the Fund Raising Team. But, a surprise awaited everyone on the day of the ceremony for launching the office.
The ritualistic ceremonies for launching the new office were held in a function held at the house in DLF Phase 3, Gurgaon on the morning of Sunday, February 7, 2016. The presiding Deities of the Gurgaon Ashram, Sri Sri Gaura Nitai were taken to the new house and Narasimha Yajna was performed in Their presence in the morning. His Grace Madhu Pandit Dasa, Chairman of the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, had arrived from Bangalore for participating in the event. Sri Rakesh Juneja and his father also participated in the ceremony.
After the Narasimha Yajna a visibly moved Sri Rakesh Juneja expressed his desire that the Deities remain at his home and that his home may serve as the new Temple and Ashram for the devotees of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir in the National Capital Region. Sriman Madhu Pandit Dasa, touched by the gesture of Sri Rakesh Juneja gave his assent for the shift and it was decided then and there that the whole ashram would shift that very day to Sri Juneja’s house and worship for the Deities would henceforth be conducted there. After these dramatic decisions the Deities were shifted to the lawn for the further events.
A temporary Altar was set up in the lawn and the Deities of Gaura Nitai were
placed there. A group of devotees lead Sankirtana and soon the whole assembly of Founder Patrons, Devotees and Friends of the temple who had gathered for the occasion were dancing in ecstasy.
Sriman Madhu Pandit Dasa gave an inspiring lecture on the chanting of the Hare Krishna Mantra to the rapt audience.
The announcement regarding decision to shift the ashram and temple was greeted with loud cheering and everyone was overjoyed at the dramatic turn of events. Sri Rakesh Juneja spoke a few words praising the project. He also offered his respects to Sriman Madhu Pandit Dasa on his recently being awarded the prestigious Padma Shri Award from the Government of India.
Then the crowd of devotees overjoyed at the unfolding miracle danced in Sankirtana even more enthusiastically while Arati was performed for the Deities. Then everyone present received a sumptuous Prasadam feast.
Thus concluded a day of dramatic events at a house in DLF Phase 3 of the national capital region where the Deities of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai manifested Their miraculous pastimes to the great delight of devotees.
