Honourable Mayor of Gurugram attends Ramanavami Celebration of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir

Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir celebrated Ramanavami on 25th March 2018 at Community centre, DLF, Phase 2, Gurugram.

Ram Darbar

The deities of Lord Sri Rama and His consort Srimati Sitadevi along with Lakshman and Hanuman were dressed in bright attire and attractive garlands. The entire arena was bedecked with special flower decorations.

Sankirtan Visitors

The environment was surcharged with divine Ram Bhajans and kirtan. Devotees and visitors from all over the city thronged at the celebration hall to witness the celebration and received the blessings of Lord Rama.

yajna Chanting

An elaborate Rama Taraka Yagna was conducted amidst the vedic chants. For some visitors it was the first time and they said that in today’s world we hardly hear such perfect chanting of vedic hymns.

Honourable Mayor of Gurugram Srimati Madhu Azad participated in the Yagna and enjoyed the traditional flavour of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir’s Ramanavami celebration. She also happens to be the first woman Mayor of Gurugram.

6. Pravachan

The importance of Sri Ram Navami celebration was elucidated by the Temple Vice President Sri Yudhishthira Krishna Dasa. He said that Lord Ramachandra is a great source of inspiration and guidance. Even the holy name of Rama can deliver us and hence we all should always chant Hare Krishna Hare Rama.

Video of all pastime places of Lord Ramachandra was liked by one and all and it was a great experience to see the places on Rama Navami.  In Jhulanutsav the deities of Lord Rama and Srimati Sitadevi were kept on a swing and gently rocked by all ardent devotees present at the venue.

10. Mahamangalarathi

A Mahamangalaarathi was offered to Their Lordships and all visitors relished the feast prasadam.
