Devotees of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir visited the village of Khatu in Rajasthan and generated great enthusiasm among the great throng of devotees of Lord Krishna gathered there with Harinama Sankirtana.
An estimated 500,000 ardent devotees of KhatuShyamJi had gathered from all parts of Rajasthan and other Northern Indian states at the village of Khatu, which lies in the Sikar district of Rajasthan.
The devotees led by Sriman Yudhishthira Krishna Dasa joined the 5-day festivities on the main day of the event on the evening of 19th March 2016.
At around 10:30 PM the devotees of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir were given the stage in an arena with nearly 40,000 enthusiastic people.
Sriman Yudhishthira Krishna Dasa briefly spoke about the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir project. Then Sriman Rasaraja Krishna Dasa led soulful Sankirtana as the video of the project played in the background. As the tempo of the Sankirtana picked up, the audience began to sway and clap in unison. There was loud cheering when the Sankirtana concluded at around 11 pm in the night.
It was a successful outing for the devotees of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir. Along with ‘Krishna Bhumi’, who facilitated the Sankirtana, they created a lasting impression at the ancient festival.
