In its ongoing efforts to train and empower its in-house labour staff, Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir arranged for a ten-day training programme for them under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY).
The program was particularly focussed on bar benders and shuttering labourers. The trainers were from a company named as ‘Labournet Services India Private Limited’ which is registered under the PMKVY. The company provides training on behalf of the Government.
The programme cost of Rs.1000/Labourer was borne by the Government. The Labour staff were given a Training Completion Certificate and a safety jacket after completion of the programme.
The training was imparted for ten days in sessions of half an hour each day in the afternoon between 1:30pm to 2pm from Monday, 29th January 2018. The training was planned as to not affect the construction activity at the site.
This programme was effective in skill development of the in-house labour staff and helped increase their efficiency and production.
After the successful completion of the training programme, further training programmes related to MEP for plumbers and electricians of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir have been envisaged.
