Braj Heritage Fest 2023
We are happy to announce that Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir is back with the most awaited event of the year 'Braj Heritage Fest 2023'. This is a prestigious event to celebrate and glorify the heritage of Braj.
Schools in and around Braj are welcome to participate in this inter-school competition, which will be held during the month of July-August. The Braj Heritage Fest, 2019 received a great response with over 45,000 participants in various events, making it a grand success.
We have included a few more interesting and fun contests to the event this year. We will be giving away exciting prizes like Laptop, Kindle, Tab, bicycle and surprise participation gifts for all participants.
Results will be declared on 31st August 2023 in this page.

Handwriting (Hindi and English)
Guidelines
- Text matter in English and Hindi along with ruled sheets will be given
- Writing materials like pens, writing pad should be brought by the participants.
- Duration: 60 minutes.
- Eligibility: Class IV, V, VI; VII, VIII, IX; X, XI, XII
- Judgment criteria: Legibility, neatness, angle and word spacing
Essay Writing (Hindi and English)
Guidelines

- Team of 2 or 3 to write the answers together.
- Duration: 60 minutes.
- Eligibility:Class IV, V, VI; VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII
- No mobile phones are allowed .
- Entry time for written test 8:45 a.m, Test begins at 9 a.m, Entry allowed upto 9:15 a.m ONLY.
- Written test paper submission - at sharp 10 a.m. (NO extra time will be provided)

Classical Dance (Solo)
Guidelines
- Participants may choose any of the 8 Indian Classical Dance forms (Kathak, Odissi, Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Manipuri, Kuchipudi, Kathakali, Sattriya) for their performance depicting a theme from the Puranas, Ramayana, or Mahabharata.
- Fusion or mixing of classical dance with Bollywood or Folk or any other non-classical dance form will NOT be allowed.
- The selection of music used for dance needs to be approved by the organizers.
- Please Note: There will be a Preliminary round (Qualifying round) for all Participants, Only selected participants will go for the Finals.
- Duration:Preliminary round - 2 mins, Final round - 3 mins.
- For the preliminary round - Dance costume is not compulsory, for Finals it is compulsory.
- Eligibility:Class IV, V, VI; VII, VIII, IX; X, XI, XII
- Judgment criteria:Choreography, rhythm, authenticity, costume, and expression.

- Judgment criteria: Makeup, Costume, Authenticity and Visual presentation.
Greeting Card Making (Solo)
Guidelines
- Theme - Birthday Greeting Card for Lord Krishna.
- Stationery items like handmade paper/chart paper, pens, pencils, paints, brushes, decoration items like Kundan, etc. should be brought by the participants.
- Use of colours and other necessary items to enhance the overall look are permitted
- The entire greeting card should be created at the venue. Pre-preparation is not allowed.
- Eligibility: Class IV, V, VI; VII,VIII, IX; X, XI, XII
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Judgment criteria: Visual appeal, complexity in terms of efforts, creativity, wordings, neatness.
