Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir efforts received a shot in the arm when the Honorable Minister of Tourism and Culture, Government of India, Dr. Mahesh Sharma gave an encouraging message supporting the initiative.
At a time when the temple is poised to commence some of the major construction stages of the ambitious project, the Honorable Minister’s message proved highly motivational for all the devotees, consultants and donors working diligently together under the instructions of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhakti Vedanta Swami Prabhupada to make the skyscraper temple for Lord Krishna in Vrindavan a reality.
Honorable Minster for Tourism and Culture, Sri Mahesh Sharma met Sri Chanchalapathi Dasa, President, Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir recently. The Honorable minister evinced keen interest in the project and felt greatly enthused to learn of the exalted aspirations of the project. He felt that the objectives of the project were in perfect congruence with the plans of his own ministry to develop Mathura as an important center of tourist interest under the ministry’s recently announced schemes of promoting spiritual tourism in India. The ministry has identified spiritual tourism as one of the most important tourism sectors in India.
