Sri Gaura Purnima festival was celebrated last evening at Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir. This year's festival was profoundly significant as it coincided with a Lunar Eclipse, mirroring the exact celestial conditions under which Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu appeared over 500 years ago.
The day was marked by a series of grand ceremonies, including a majestic Maha Abhishek, Arati, Phoolon Ki Holi and a vibrant
Pallaki Utsav, as devotees gathered to celebrate the "Golden Avatar."
Sri Chanchalapathi Dasa, President of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir and Vrindavan Heritage Tower, delivered a special discourse on the advent of the Lord. He explored the deep spiritual significance of this specific eclipse and how it serves as a reminder of the Lord's mission to spread the Holy Name.
The festivities culminated in a Shayana Arati offered to the Deities of Sri Sri Nitai-Gauranga, followed by the distribution of sanctified Prasadam to all guests and pilgrims.
Here are the glimpses from the event.
