Wind Engineering & Thermal Comfort Consultants
RWDI was retained by VCM authorities to provide wind engineering services for the upcoming Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir Development in Vrindavan, Mathura. RWDI’s wind engineering services included wind-induced response of the tall tower, wind-induced façade loading on the development, and evaluation of the thermal comfort condition in the outdoor areas of the total development. For the first two studies, RWDI made scaled models of the temple at 1:500 scale and wind tested in RWDI’s sophisticated wind tunnel in Canada. RWDI’s results were utilized by structural engineers for the design of the temple structure and by curtain wall consultants for the façade design.
